The EN 511 norm defines the demands and test methods of the protection gloves against the transmitted cold by convention or construction until 50 negative degrees. This cold can be related with climacteric conditions or with an industrial activity. The specific values of the different levels of efficiency are determined by the specific demands of each risk category or in the ambit of each special application. The product tests con only be made to efficiency levels and not to protection levels. Demanding Level: 1st Level: 0 to 4 – Cold resistance by convention: indicates that that is or isn’t a penetration after 30 minutes. 2nd Level: 0 to 5 – Cold resistance of contact: indicates if that is or isn’t a penetration after 30 minutes. 3rd Level: 0 to 1 – Waterproof: indicates if that is or isn’t penetration after 30 minutes.
